AHW Studio

A unique jewellery brand located on the ground floor of the iconic Strand Arcade. We challenge the idea of a traditional jewellery store by employing mood lighting to bring drama and warmth to the space. The finishes palette reflects the brand aesthetic with rich timber, burnished metal and heavy, matt texture. LED lighting is focused directly on the product, while the shopfront has a strong yet refined presence.

With a 15sqm footprint, ample display and storage solutions were required. Jewellery pieces are displayed on floating shelves, while additional stock is stored in the drawers below.

The open shelves are a rich walnut finish and display a selection of boxes, accessories and styling objects. This joinery is visible from outside the store and has a commanding presence.

Vintage watches are sourced from all over the world and repurposed into unique jewellery pieces such as rings, pendant necklaces and cufflinks. The product was the inspiration for the finishes and colours, which leans towards a refined, industrial aesthetic.

The Strand Arcade is a beautiful, heritage listed shopping destination. The shopfront display features aged brass posts that span from floor to ceiling and a floating clock. Customers can browse the jewellery in the window, or look beyond into the store. It was important to maintain as much natural light and vision into the store from the mall area.
